I came into possession of this (probably) Canadian aviator blouse by detours. The search on the net did not yield any positive results. I would be interested in information on the origin and purpose of use. Can someone help?

Based on the design of the nationality titles and the label on the blouse, I would say that you are looking at a piece from the 1950's. Obviously, it would have been worn by an "Other Ranks" (enlisted) member of the Royal Canadian Air Force.
