I visisted Verdun, the battlefield and the memorials some years ago. Ft. Douaumont, the Douaumont Ossuary and the burial sites were some of the most depressing (and impressive) places I have seen so far. After more than 100 years the horror of war is still concrete there...

 

Excellent dio, Trixie. The base (Ft. Douaumont?) looks extremely realistic. Great paintjob on the figures. Outstanding work so far, can´t wait to see this dio finished.
