Hello all. Was this worn in Algeria pre WW2 and what is the significance of the Hansa hand seen in Jewish items as well? Worn into WW2 by FF? Thanks Andy

Hello, this insignia was created in 1956. It was for the French militaries in Algeria/Tunisia/Morocco. 
For this insignia, the blue hand represents the Fatma hand or Fatima hand, and it is not Jewish but Arabic.
