ROKMC HBT Duckhunter ~1968

HBT duck hunter uniform. Looking at the photos available, the yellow background uniforms seem to appear by the end of 1967 or in early 1968.

This is probably the most common variation in the US right now, the sizing on this one is remarkable though. The chest measures about 44 inches and the waist about 34 inches. The shirt is stamped "4" and the pants are stamped "5" which seems to run contrary to sizing of other ROK army uniforms of the time (I am a borderline small-medium regular and I generally wear size 3 ROK uniforms). These should probably be stamped about size 2 or size 1 in accordance with the normal sizing system.

The cap I picked up is incredibly small and unfortunately, has had its size tag cut out.

Very nice! The yellow actually showed up super early around 1964/65 they were actually the most common ROK camo alongside the 58. The green tinted camo was also used early on but only in the single pocket p64 cut uniforms, caps and helmet covers. The green tinted two pocket uniforms did not show up in large numbers until around 67. Here’s a few links that help.

Do you have any photos of the yellow duck hunter in 1964/1965? I have only seen the reversible duckhunter suits that early.
