June 29, 20251 yr #10 Of the 5,000,000 ~ 5,200,000 Iron Crosses Second Class awarded, approximately 13,000 were awarded with the "Weißband", or "white ribbon". Of those, most were likely awarded 1918 ~ 1922, and generally to high ranking civilians. The medal bar in post #1 is rare indeed, and to a long ~ serving civilian.
