Just picked this up today.

Serial number 48XXX which I think is 1940?

    Almost a month and not even a cricket ?

    Oh well....

    BTW I took it out to the range the other day with some newly manufactured 38/200 rounds.

    This thing is a beast! 

    Shot well but those sharp edges are rough on the bare hand.

    Yes, Holidays Season, slower to respond, too many distractions.

    Lovely looking revolver, I do enjoy the Webley revolvers.

    Neat revolver!  It has the Broad Arrow property marking so it saw military use.  Aside from the post-war British commercial proof marks it is in very nice condition.  How does it shoot?

    Very well with both 200 and 145 grain bullets.
