December 4, 20223 yr #1 I was in my LGS and he had just bought some pieces from a local collection. One was a Tokarev TT-33. It was built is Izhevsk in 1942. It appears to have been refinished but otherwise it’s flawless. It’s the first Soviet entry in my WW II collection!

Well, I may pick up some 7.62x25 Tokarev - I understand it’s a beast! From what I have found, the grips are period correct to wartime production. The pistol in general has very little wear (refinishing aside it’s pretty flawless) so the grips seem appropriate. Here’s another 1942 production (with much more wear and tear):
