Hi Folks:  I recently picked this aiguillette up which was in a pile of WWI and WW2 insignia, badges and medals.  I figured that it was imperial Bavarian but when I posted it on another site…I heard nix.  I then thought that it maybe a WW2 period civilian organization or Luftwaffe…but I am not sure….could it be from another country?

I checked my reference on US shoulder cords and there is mention of a blue and silver gray aiguillettes worn by US military intelligence.   Although the correct color combination you are probably correct that this a foreign shoulder cord but I thought I would share what I found.
