This is my genuine french m1822 light cavalry officers sword maker on the spine Coulaux brothers Klingathal. After extensive research I found it to be the 3 pattern 1830/36. There was no veriation of style from the original 1822 pattern. Only the decoration on the guards of officers swords changed to a half fleur de lis in 1830.
