A friend of mine suggested I look into these forums and join. After reviewing the website, I decided to become a member. My Dad was a soldier in the 112th Cavalry Regimental Combat Team, Troop A from 1943-1945. He served in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre (Arawe, Aitape, Leyte, and Luzon) during his time in the Army. I have been creating a roster for the 112th Cavalry Regiment and currently have over 2,400 names on the roster. My next project is to create a roster for each troop in the 112th Regiment. My friend acquired a Japanese Good Luck Flag which had my Dad's name along with 14 other soldiers from Troop A on it. This started my journey into researching the 112th RCT and Regiment. I look forward to being a member of your organization.
