Greek pick up

I got lucky and was able to pick up an early pair of Greek lizard pants. Not sure of the time frame, I'd say 70s or 80s due to the cut (very British influence). The seller had them listed as ripstop, but the fabric is of all things, corduroy! Anyone have any insight if they are issue or private purchase? The company that made them is Greek and are still operating.
