I've seen maybe a handful of these over the years. Mostly Unlined with buttons for a button in liner, but this has a bright crimson, cotton liner and ether polyester or cotton batting insulation. The fabric is definitely herringbone and the cut is similar to an M51 field jacket. What I'm curious about, is whether the fabric was Greek, French or Cyprus printed, then sewn on Cyprus? Either way, a beautiful little jacket.
