Bought this at an antique store today, it looks real has the Erickson makers mark the iron eagle I was just curious if any one can confirm this real for sure. Thank you so much!

Sure looks good to me and an excellent example at that with a nice knot.

You have an Eickhorn pattern # 1706 (Sharnhorst) German Army Officer sword.  It is original.
