Yesterday’s finds. The Soldbuch was used post war? About 100 photos came too.

The Soldbuch of this gunner is most interesting. And yes it was used postwar. Recorded is the receipt of "Wehrsold" (service pay). Most likely he got it as a POW. I have read this wasn´t unusual especially during the arrest in British or U.S. camps. Awesome grouping.

Very nice, I especially like the Luftwaffe belt buckle. It looks like it still restrains a good amount of paint? Very nice grouping!

Thank you for offering this excellent information and confirmation of my initial wonder that this could be a German POW’s book. Sometimes I wonder……could this be a POW’s book? As I eat my Twizzler. Thanks again for your help.

Wow those are both beautiful examples, especially the Luftwaffe one, that one seems a little sloppy in quality compared to the Heer one. Maybe just production late war, very nice examples!
