Hello, i have this beach group helmet in my collection.

its named J ADAMSON.

Any one can help me, i try to identify it.

i find an J ADAMSON in anzio but not sur of it is this soldier.

Hi Spike14.

 

Looking at the possibles with Find My Past I concentrated on Dunkirk 1940 and Normandy 1944. I have found a Gunner J Adamson, 788196 of the 3/4 Anti Aircraft Regiment Royal Artillery wounded on a list recording Dunkirk casualties. Being an Anti Aircraft unit he may have been deployed on the beach. 

 

Looking at the RA records 3 Battery. 4th Heavy Anti Aircraft Regiment were at Dunkirk.
