I got this along with a lot of free stuff at the OC fair yesterday and this is what I was most puzzled about, it says SAS on the zipper but I am just completely lost as to what this is. I thought it was Czech or yugo maybe, any hell is appreciated.

That appears to be the same design as a French Modele 1950 military map case https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/french-army-modele-1950-map-case-3243315695

 

SAS is currently a manufacturer of zips though unlikely the same as on a vintage French map case.
