Is this an Imperial German belt or a WW2 one? There are no markings that I can see.

It looks like WW1 to me.

Looks more WWII to me.   My WWI belts have smooth catches/hooks.

I would say the leather looks ww1 but the clasp looks ww2 as most ww1 examples have smooth clasps, so I would go ww2, I guess I could see how you might’ve thought it was ww1.🤷🏻
