I don’t have a picture to post yet because it’s still in pieces but I was wondering if anyone knows anything about these Cannon stoves. I had seen that they had  Quite a few#20 stoves on the web  and few #18s that I saw but I wasn’t expecting that the size of the stoves would get larger as the numbers went down … kind of like shotgun shells. If anybody has any information about army cannon stoves and their  history that would be great and I will get to getting a picture of the assembled stove

I have a #20 that I bought from a couple near Camp Atterbury, IN. I believe they were originally shipped completely assembled, which as you can imagine would be a real b*tch to unload. IIRC, on the inside of the legs there should be a date.
