I found the following information online today and thought it might be of interest. 

 

Leutnant Hugo Broch, recipient of the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross, is 102 years old today. Serving with Jagdgeschwader 54 Broch was credited with 81 victories in 324 missions.

    Yes, it doesn't seem that long ago it was said of Great War veterans. Won't belong before World War Two is out out of living memory....
