February 26, 20242 yr #1 I bid on this lot for the helmet so the other buts are a bonus. The gas mask bag is named and I am working on tracking that person's history down. The helmet badge is for the US 36th Infantry division which was in the Meuse-Argonne in 1918. The soldier was not part of the 36th I know. The personal effects kit is unnamed but had a receipt from the 30s with a diff name. A sewing needle was also in that piece. The puttee was solitary with a marking that is illegible. The other bag has features similar to French bags so it is likely a private purchase musette of some kind. The straps don't match what I've seen online but that's a small thing. It is also unnamed.
