Great find yesterday, one is made by Heisler and the other by Hubert, both in 1939. All of the leather is in impeccable condition as is the metal rings and snaps as well as the zippers. They do have some discoloration but overall they are in incredible shape. I've personally never seen one of these in person.

Perhaps this area may not be appropriate for the following question but I wonder if somebody could help me assess potential value on these.

Thanks for looking!

FYI, I'm going to have to resize these photos as the website will not let me post them so pardon the delay while I do that.

I have had a few of these- for as rare as they are (and they even wore them in combat for warmth) they are not as sought after by collectors as one would think. (as compared to other FJ items like smocks)  They ended up selling around $1,500.

Thank you for your feedback, I'm assuming that you got 1,500 each for them? My thoughts were in the 1K to 1500 range.

yes- We had 3 or 4 of them. but I think the 1-1.5 is a decent range.
