Found this badge in a collection of old german tinnies and badges. Looked on internet a few times and haven't found one like it. Find it for me!

Badge for HJ, I think, track meet but as for originality it looks a too brand new for me. I could be wrong.

Edit: the more I look at it what really bothers me about it is that it has the correct style pin but the plastic disc does not have the 2 plastic posts that come up through the 2 holes in the pin base.

Will have to look in my Tinnie books when I get home. Reinhard Tieste has some great references and may have this one cataloged.

I can confirm that this Plastic badge is authentic. I found it in Volume II of the Book "German Tinnie Collecting" By Joseph Cassidy. Page 261.

The badge is plastic, and the translation is Under-Bann Sports Meeting (August 5, 1934) The initials in the lower right indicate the donor when the book was written and the number in the upper right denotes the price in US Dollars (but this price is subjective)..The upper left description of the badge indicates it is a HJ Badge that was made in 1934 and is the 12th HJ badge made that year (1934), Sadly there are no images of the pin back but I think it is safe to say that it is period authentic.

I would have no issues adding one like this to my collection..
