I just got this Japanese flag. It’s made out of silk. I am a young collector . Is this flag authentic to ww2 time period?

I like the look of it. usually there are paper ties on the corners-  but looks good from here!

Thank you for the feed back. That is nice to hear, I did good.  I did some research on some flags and I know some don’t have corners for hanging is that common?

I like the look of it too.  Nice pickup.  Rising sun army flags are not too common.  I can't comment on the corners.  But I have seen a few flags where a corner tab was missing.  So I suppose it could have been made this way.  But they could have fallen off or cut off.  I just can't see the detail in the pictures if there are stitching holes, etc.
