August 20, 20241 yr #1 Came across this one sold awhile ago, thought it would be cool to share, to post, a Wood Hanger from a either a individual Tailor shop or a Store,, presumably a maker of private purchase uniforms, name Richard Dreyfuss, that's right just like our American actor LOL, We gather it is located at in the Paradeplatz in Landau in der Pfalz.
August 24, 20241 yr Author #2 Here is the Landau Paradeplatz in a vintage postcard, from the early 1900s, I wonder what building Richard Dreyfuss' store is in LOL. Landau then was part of Bavaria, in that region west of Bavaria proper, thus the Luipold Denkmal, for we guess Luitpold Karl Joseph Wilhelm Ludwig, Prince Regent of Bavaria
August 25, 20241 yr Author #3 In the Kingdom period, Landau was the Home Depot of the Bavarian 18th Infantry Regiment, In full German title Königlich Bayerisches 18. Infanterie Regiment 'Prinz Ludwig Ferdinand“
September 9, 20241 yr Author #4 For those unfamiliar with the Pre 1919 Territory of Bavaria, we post this Map, the Blue to the West of Bavaria Proper is the Bavarian Palatinate in German, Bayerische Pfalz
