Would anyone be able to give me some pointers on what to look for on original South Vietnamese printed insignia? In other words, what to also know about fakes. Just looking for any general advice anyone is willing to offer.

Check out Bob Chatt's Vintage productions website to see what the originals look like.

The easiest, not always fool proof way is to hold the patch up to a bright light source.

 

If you can almost see through them they are remakes, but I mean really see though them , not just just you can see some light.
