October 30, 20241 yr #1 Greetings I was wondering if anybody had any idea on how I can sell my 1/16 scale military dioramas. They are large scale and much to big to mail. Does anyone know of some venue I could use to try to sell them? I’m running out of room for them at the house. Any ideas would be most welcome. Here are some photos of my work.
October 30, 20241 yr #2 Welcome to the WMF, that was fast! First of all let me say again that these dios are really awesome. Can´t get enough of regarding especially the figures and their camo uniforms. Your modeling skills are amazing! These are real pieces of art and I hope you´ll find a good new home for them.
October 30, 20241 yr Author #3 Thank you very much for the kind comments. I apologize for using the wrong site. I didn’t even think about the models being German themed. Luckily I was already a member of wmf.
October 31, 20241 yr Author #4 I stated yesterday on the wrong site that I was in the process of working on a 1/16 Normandy airborne diorama. Here is some of the progress. It will have a knocked out German puma recon armored car by 101st AB infantry. I’m hoping to find a way to sell my older dios to make room for new work. My wife is on my case about it. She might even shut me down lol. Gotta keep the wife happy. If I can’t find a way to sell some of these I’m probably in the doghouse.
October 31, 20241 yr #5 The US airborne dio can be posted on the US forum. I built 1/35th scale dioramas of destroyed German vehicles in Normandy, my specialty was vegetation. I was into super detailing and scratch building and by age 23 I had a few dioramas including an award winner. After college I moved from the East to West coast for several years. When I came back home for a visit all my dioramas were in the basement where the cat had slept on them. And that’s how I got rid of my dioramas, I haven’t built anything since.
November 1, 20241 yr #6 Thanks for posting more pictures! The figures look very well painted so far. I´m really looking forward to seeing more of this Puma dio in the future.
