Hi, first post on this page as I primarily collect US. I picked up this Japanese cap at a local auction. I think that it’s real due to the wear, but it’s not my expertise so I could be wrong. Anything you can tell me about it would be great. 
 

there is a period news paper on the interior rolled up to support the cap.
