Can anyone help me identify this board? I am assuming it is the 116th Regiment of something. I am also guessing it is Franco Prussian era? Any help is appreciated!

Infanterie-Regiment Kaiser Wilhelm (2. Großherzoglich Hessisches) Nr. 116

It's for a One Year Volunteer by virtue of the Red and White twisted Piping, Red and White being the State Colors of Hesse. It must be an earlier one as by the start of the Great War, this regiment's Shoulder Strap has a Monogram, for Wilhelm, Wilhelm the  II. So maybe before the regiment was granted it's Royal Title??? Not sure when it was granted, sometime in the 1880s????

Here's the Field Grey version showing the Monogram.

Here's the Pre War Blue Uniform one, a White Strap,  White being the Corps Color the regiment was in, the XVIII Corps. We see on the Field Grey one and this White one the Roman Number II, this being for Kaiser Wilhelm II, so the regiment no doubt gets its royal title sometime after 1888, the year he began his reign.
