Early Hitler Postcard

Just purchased this. This is the earliest photo postcard I have of Hitler. Hand written date on the back 6/6/31. Has anyone seen a postcard like this?

Interesting shot! Haven't seen this one before and I handle postcards quite a bit. Can you show us the back? Curious about any info re: photographer or publisher.

There is no publisher/photographer printing in the back. Just something hand written in German that I cannot read. Then handwritten date 6/6/31.

Interesting because it is not a very flattering image of him.

Yes. I noticed that too. Pretty boring. But then again, being very early he didn't have full power at the time so he wasn't gloating as much?

Happy to help decipher the handwriting, if you like!

A little hard to see - a scan would be better. First word is definitely "Aufnahme," which in this case refers to the picture, then either "von" (by) or "vor" (in front of) and then either a last name or a place. The script is a bit unusual for the period - more Latin than Kurrent.

I don't have a way to scan it. Thanks for trying though. It looks like "von".
