Here is the Type X Harness used by OSS/SOE Personnel during the UNION II Mission
Reported to be the worn by USMC SERGEANT PERRY, history only Verbal as to belonging to him but
definitely one used on this mission (confirmed)

Putting together a display for this Group I noticed there are
TWO additional straps and not sure how they were used any help would be Greatly appreciated

One has the same RED Center stitching as the Harness and the other has Blue
Center stitching (used two harness loops) Are they possibly Riser extensions for the DROP CANISTER
Do they attach to the harness Risers with a handle below, one on each side ??? or simply a
strap to attach personnel equipment to hang below harness ???
