Hello, first time posting here... I'm hoping to get some opinions on this small grouping that I have.. it came with a few other items, but my main interest is linking together these German bread plates that came with this gi's grouping.

I don't know what order the pictures will end up in but you can see in the picture of the bread plates there is a wooden plate with an eagle on it that was presented to a 160 German flak unit. The other pictures are of the flak units short history how they ended up in Italy the same place this GI was and the same year... There is also another picture that tells about a German soldier that served on that flak unit in Italy. The same place the GI soldier had Been. I've been told that the plates look like they've been (embellished) I can provide more pictures if need be.. I'm just wondering if this all adds up correctly or if there's anything off about it... I'm looking to sell it eventually so I'd like to get as much correct information as I can... Thank you

Looks like it's hard to read but the US soldier was in Italy the same time as the flack unit 1944

Not my field of expertise and I´m afraid I can´t help you to answer your question because I don´t see any link between these 3 plates.

The writing on the back of the wooden 160er plate has a couple of abrevations. If you need a translation of the writing on the back here it is. 

"Unserem Leutnant und Adjutanten D. Zimmermann zum 38. Geburtstag - Die Unteroffiziere und Mannschaften des Stabes"

(To our lieutenant and adjutant D. Zimmermann on his 38th birthday - NCO and enlisted of the HHQ). 

So this plate was a birthday present to the CO´s adjutant.

Thanks..... The link is in the blurry picture that you cannot read unfortunately... It is from a USGI who landed in anzio in 1944 The same year the flak unit was transferred to Italy.   ... I have his scrapbook with a bunch of newspaper cuttings and some letters back to his parents... He was in Italy the same time this flak unit was ... All the plates came from the same gi's estate.... I don't know where he obtained the other two plates...
