Rivets are a concern. Here is an original JMME.

Thanks, here's a known original for comparison. The rivets are certainly different.

There is a light version and a heavy version of this badge and they are made differently but that’s all I know.

I'm a little confused. How is is showing his badge? The rivets are entirely different aren't they? Dave

The light aluminum version has different rivets that the nickel silver heavy version.

Sorry for the confusion.

 

Look at the background. I shoot many of my badges on the top of my oak desk....the badge that is a known original is also my badge.

 

The badge with repaired rivets is also a known original. I found it at a gunshow in Kentucky or Ohio (can't remember exactly) back in the 90s.
