The Luftwaffe pilot/observer badge in the photos came in a grouping and I suspect it to be a reproduction piece but wanted to have others with more experience weigh in. The reasons for my suspicion are the block type hinge which I don’t believe this maker used. Also the makers mark doesn’t seem quite exact as other examples I have viewed in pictures. For example the “L” in Berlin doesn’t use the same arrow shaped letter as I see in pictures.  These are a few of the reasons for my suspicion. 

Hi all! I thought I’d circle back to share my findings. This is in fact a reproduction badge. The pattern is FLL; the eagle and the hinge on the back. However the eagle lacks the quality in details as a real FLL and maker mark is incorrect as it is Juncker.
