August 4, 2025Aug 4 #1 Hi Folks: Anyone recognize this military field bag which I recently purchased??? As you can see "vintage" hand painted French flag and Red cross on a military green bag with clip-hook strap. It also has stenciling Maybe French or American or ???? Any and all assistance would be appreciated. Thank you for looking Stenciling....I think "L.X.X.V.I.I....60" "....T...T.L.H.S..7" I had to correct the picture of the stenciling since it was upside down

As far as “given” …France told the US to leave in the 1960s, which we did except for the WW1 & WW2 Service Members resting in various cemeteries across France. When the US closed various bases across France, they left behind a lot of material (gear & equipment).
