British Very Long Gloves 1941 Anti-flash?

I found these gloves today. They are British Broad Arrow marked and dated 1941. I’ve looked all over the internet and cannot identify them. I guessed they were anti-flash gloves but they are nothing like anything I can find. All the gloves I can find are white with what looks like maybe elastic cinched openings. These are green and ends are wide open. So maybe something else? Hopefully someone  here will know.
