i got this from the family of a vet when he passed several years ago. I assume he picked it up after the war as he was in the C.B.I. Theater. One stamp before the patent is something with what looks like a 77. The one after looks like a German eagle with a 623 or 625 stamped under it. Nothing special I know but it is fun to shoot. Didn't see a date of manufacture on it and I don't know what the stamps mean so any info would be great. Thanks Mark

A very nice Radom pistol.  The Eagle/77 marking is an inspector who worked with proofing these pistols.  The other WaA is also a wartime German inspector  marking.  The rough finish on your pistol is normal for these late war pistols. These pistols also came with black plastic grips like your brown ones.

Nice late war version. The after the Germans took over production they continued to look for ways to make the pistol cheaper and faster.

It’s called the take down lever. Look at the grooves in the slides on the earlier models. You will see a notch that the take down lever locks in to. Yours does not have that notch.
