Hi all,

I picked up this rig among others during a trip to Vietnam recently, which I think is for (stick)grenades. But I have never seen another one, either 'Live' or in pics. Is this type actually used pre-1973?

It is completely unmarked and has 6 open pockets in the middle and a smaller pocket closed with a flap and wooden toggle on each side. The only metal parts are 2 sliders on the shoulder straps. For the actual color see the last pic.

    It turns out this rig most likely is for Rifle Grenades. :)

     

    It seems to be quite rare indeed.
