February 16Feb 16 #4 Yes, it is a Swiss Army cap that was intended for the 1974 combat uniform (Gebirgsmütze zu Kampfanzug 74), but was later issued to all Swiss soldiers for winter wear. I wore a cap like this myself in the military. It was introduced into the army in 1974 and manufactured to order in 1975/76 (bottom right in the picture); the number 59 indicates the size.
