Manchukuoan Officer Belt And Holster

Recently acquired and with a big shout out thank you to Sarge for it's identification. Here is his Id: "Your belt buckle seems to indicate the wearer was a Manchukuoan officer.  The five petal cherry blossom has about 20 stamen which indicates higher rank.  This is the Manchu Qing Dynasty puppet state set up by the Japanese."

Thanks for looking

Very nice rig! Is the buckle brass, steel or aluminum? Now you need the revolver that fits!

Type 26 is probably a very good bet.  From what I can find the Type 26 started to be produced 1893-1894 and discontinued in 1935.  So it would make make sense that The Manchukuo army was most likely not issued front line weapons.
