Not anything major.  I couldn't pas up really good deals and this is the result.  I already had the majority of the patches (which were $2 each), but the army ones are graybacks which I consider the true "originals".  The WWI trio to the Royal Fusiliers has a very low number, 559 which is pretty rare.  The guy was an original regular at the start of the war. I need to get a replacement Bavarian 9 year service medal to "fix" the German medal bar.  The East German medals were $2 each and amazingly, I didn't have any.....

If I've read the name correctly, the WWI trio is to John Edward Foulds Royal Fusiliers and, later, Labour Corps.

 

A move from an active infantry unit to a support role Corps - such as the Labour Corps -  was usually the case for those soldiers who were found to be unfit for front line trench service, particularly the older men.

You got it.  I think Foulds could have been transferred due to combat fatigue.  He was an original in his battalion when it shipped overseas in 1915 and you know how long those infantry guys lasted.  He was a "lucky" one.  His medal card does not show a Silver Wound Badge, so he wasn't wounded at any point.  Thanks for the comments.
