LW M43 Cap

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Here's my Luftwaffe Enlisted Man's M43 Cap dated 1944 in a size 57 with deep blue-grey wool with RBNr 0/0501/0015. It has held up well over the years.

Thanks,

James

M43 caps were the most popular to wear by Luftwaffe personal. My father who piloted 109s and ended his years after being on the Russian Front at Rechlin airbase, always said that among all the pilots and ground personal that the M43 was a favorite. I have 3 including one from the Afrika Corp. Which I'll take out of storage and post a pic later. But this one is my favorite.
