This plastic armband is currently worn by the NK women (they are all women) Traffic Police:

When I got the armband I did not realize that these women are some type of Internet sensation with people commenting on their style, looks, military bearing, etc.

A very neat armband! I have seen film of these NK women directing traffic and they are quite robot like in their movements. Choreographed would be a better description of their movements I think. Very professional in the way of Traffic Police worldwide. They seem to develop their own styles.

I remember a traffic cop in the ROK on the road to Camp Casey who was amazing to watch.
