Well maintained and preserved, there was a fear that it would be scattered to the four winds when put up for auction after Littlefield passed away. Looks like the Collings foundation obtained the majority of it and finally have it ready to display. From their website: "The American Heritage Museum featuring the Jacques M. Littlefield Collection of Tanks and Armor is opening for a limited preview period from October 6th, 2018 through November 25th, 2018. During this period, the major artifacts of the Littlefield Collection will be on display, but much of the smaller artifacts, graphic and multimedia displays, gift shop, and select larger artifacts are a work-in-progress. As a result, we will be offering reduced price admission for those wishing to get a sneak-peek of the American Heritage Museum during this preview period. The American Heritage Museum preview will also be open during the Battle for the Airfield WWII Re-Enactment on October 6th and 7th as part of the combined admission. The staff are working hard in preparation for a Grand Opening of all exhibits in April 2019." https://www.collings...eritage-museum/ I just wish I lived closer to Massachusetts!

I have visited the Collings Foundation property and have flown on their planes B 24, B 25 and B 17 on their "Wings of Freedom" tour and have been to their 'Battle of the Airfield' and can say if anyone is in the Massachusetts area to go and see this collection. Also if you can afford $450 take a flight on one of their planes its an AMAZING rush.
John K Posted February 12, 2021 #4 Posted February 12, 2021 found my way over here so I figured I'd add some pics directly. These are from when the museum opened, I need to go back and get updates.
