Jumpmaster Posted November 18, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 18, 2018 Ive recently picked up a couple, what Id consider interesting, lapel buttons from Italy for various awards. What I like so much is that they are multi-award buttons and are so varied. My favorite is the Order of the Crown set but I like them both nonetheless. Both are made by Johnson in Milano. The first features: Order of the Crown/Civil War in Spain Invasion of France 1940/Ethiopian Campaign United Italy Medal/Ethiopian Campaign w/sword Second features: Al Valore Militari/United Italy Medal WW1 Service/WW1 Victory Medal

Brig Posted June 15, 2019 Share #3 Posted June 15, 2019 Very neat lapel badges. The Italians used lapel buttons during this era for everything from party membership, to organizational/committee participation, to veteran awards...they are often intricate and enameled, and one could build a collection around these things themselves.
