teamski Posted February 21, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 21, 2019 I got this photo over 20 years ago and I just love it. The combo of medals and that mustache is awesome! If anybody can translate the inscription, I would appreciate it. -Ski

Buckshot329 Posted February 21, 2019 Share #3 Posted February 21, 2019 That's a great picture & quite a rack of medals for this WW1 vet. Sadly I can't make out enough of the words to give a proper translation but the first line says "to my friend Arthur Sulery(?) & family". The rest of the inscription boils down to a thank you note for a warm welcome after a visit, I believe. Not super helpful so maybe someone else can chime in to give a full translation (or correct me if I'm wrong). Nonetheless, great picture!
