Are these marked to know the county of manufacture?  Or is it the color and that shape of the scabbard?  

 

I bought this in 1991 after the fall of the Iron Curtain. 

Most all AK and AKM bayos should have certain markings etc to tell you what county they were made by, a lot of info online im sure about all AK bayonets. This is my iraqi used polish made one.

Your guard is well marked but only a 4-digit number.  On the opposite side, there is a small mark almost like a 7 or F.  

I think I can almost make out something under the paint on my Guard.  The handle and scabbard both have a hand-scribed number: "7312".

  Thanks!  I would have loved to have brought my full mannequins as it would have been so much better visually.  However, we traveled 4 hours one way in a Nissan Rogue, so space was limited.

Wow..great stuff guys.  Here are a few of mine.

A little more..the Japanese rifle came off Iwo Jima and has shrapnel damage in the wood on the fore end.

I would say combat gear of US, German & Japanese.  Major interest in the WWII American Grenade and M1 Mine and WWII M1 Carbine.
