Excellent work so far Manny. I would love to see step-by-step how you do the base for this dio .

Well I am using MiniArts' Country Diorama #36027. It seems like a very popular kit for dioramas, but of course I'm going to let my artistic nature take over.

Well I just want to say that I threw myself a curveball in the dirt. Before I start on the diorama base, I decided to add another motorcycle w/side car. The base can be a little expansive and overpower the vehicles so with another vehicle w/figures, the focus is more on the vehicles rolling down the street than the base and houses. So you'll just have to wait awhile longer on the base.

Don't worry I'll post some WIP pics.

Great, the more race participants the better!

P.S.: Please don´t forget to post the dio base WIP pictures since we do not have any such tutorial over here yet!

Hey Lars, don't worry I won't. Here is a WIP photo of the 2nd motorcycle. FYI, the first bike was a BMW R/75 while this one is the Zundapp KS750. So far so good.

Interesting choice, it would have been one of the seven prototypes that were being tested then! 😁

More than likely early. Well I finished(?) the bike but I still have to paint the front wheel plate and then get to doing the side car, then the soldiers. Hope you like it.
