mikie Posted November 2, 2020 #1 Posted November 2, 2020 I met this guy at my voting center, the Egyptian museum in San Jose, CA. It's Thutmose III, the greatest pharaoh military leader. https://www.crystalinks.com/Thutmose_III.html He wasn't very talkative. I guess he was all wrapped up thinking about the election. Mikie
SARGE Posted November 3, 2020 #2 Posted November 3, 2020 OMG... that politically incorrect Pharaoh owned slaves. He must be being quiet to avoid the mob tearing him down.

Sarge, it doesn't matter out there in California- they tore down a statue of U.S. Grant, who helped to end slavery in the US by commanding Union Forces in the Civil War and then prosecuting an active campaign against Nathan Bedford Forrest and the Ku Klux Klan after the war! SARGE Posted November 4, 2020 #4 Posted November 4, 2020 Yep Allan, and the State of Missouri was voting yesterday on whether to remove a statue of General/President Andrew Jackson from in front of the Kansas City Metro courthouse in Jackson County (named after Andrew Jackson of course) Missouri. I haven't heard how that vote turned out. Strange days.

Allan Well, Grant did own a slave for a time... Scott
Otter42 Posted March 21, 2021 #6 Posted March 21, 2021 Goid one Sarge! Definitely crazy days we are living in! Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight! Isaiah 5:20-21
