Russian field dressing and ZAPU badge, from Victoria Falls area Rhodesia. Any dressings and first aid kit were always added to your own kit when found

SKS belt, seen a bit of action looks like it’s been hit with a 20mm H.E round been repaired and reissued. Then the next guy fell over with 9 mm disease injected by Uzi.

This is an order to return any weapons held to the armoury at police H.Q. 1980.  Note it states to return captured souvenirs as well, one of the reasons they are hard to find.

Another water bottle from a ZIPRA fighter. A large Chinese style aluminium bottle  carried in a British 44 pattern cover possibly ex Zambian Army. The bottle is  made of thinner aluminium and is a lot larger than the usually Chinese supplied canteens.

Yeah a lot of small helmets around in Angola, the dark green paint is nice, here’s a photo of one that was up for Auction to raise funds for one of the veteran associations a few years ago

OMG!

I've had these belts for years but could never find any concrete evidence as to who may have used them.

One thing I find interesting is the buckle on the lower left. Canvas web belt and made of steel. Looks like a Cuban buckle only blank.

Sterile belts made for aid to developing counties. I’ve never seen brand new ones before all mine were “soiled”
