Here's an unusual flare launcher I acquired last year. Had never seen or knew they did anything like this. It's a converted Gras rifle made to launch flares. Ian of Forgotten Weapons helped with info prior to my purchase. Ian's book has a few pages on the conversion, they are shown in the last image. Here's some pics, thanks.

I'll be darned.  I did not know these existed either.  I have seen the modified line throwing guns of about this length but I have never seen a converted rifle flare gun.  This is a good example of why to buy the books.
